Roel is a software engineer at Peercode. As a software engineer, Roel has experience in creating web applications for VoIP telephony and for configuration and management of Linux systems. In his role as Linux engineer, Roel has experience in managing large numbers of Linux systems and setting up reliable CI/CD solutions.

Roel sets high standards for himself and his work. He likes to fully understand technical subjects and find appropriate solutions for clients. Safety, reliability and simplicity are key concepts in this process.

Before joining Peercode, Roel was CTO at a software company in Delft which developed a Linux server for SMEs, based on Open Source. During his employment there, Roel completed his bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies.
